A young woman identified as Dahiana Benítez, 20 years old, lost an eye after being hit in the face by a glass while trying to stop a fight in a bar in Asunción, Paraguay. The incident occurred when the young woman was at the nightclub with several friends, and they became involved in a fight. In her attempt to stop the blows, she was struck in the face by a glass, resulting in the loss of her right eye.

Dahiana Benítez was attacked by an individual who assaulted her group of friends while they were in a nightclub in the Carmelitas neighborhood of Asunción, Paraguay. The attacker threw a glass that hit the young woman's face, fracturing her cheekbone and causing severe injuries to her right eye, which resulted in its loss.

After the incident, Dahiana Benítez was taken to the Trauma Hospital in Asunción, where doctors confirmed the loss of her right eyeball. The young woman's family has made statements calling for justice for the aggression suffered. Mauricio Benítez, Dahiana's father, reported that a complaint was filed with the authorities, and they expect a warrant to be issued for the attacker's arrest.
