On the afternoon of this Sunday, several users of the National Electricity Administration (ANDE) reported power outages in Asunción and various cities in Central. In particular, outages were reported in the towns of Ypané, Capiatá, and Areguá. Some affected areas even experienced flickering lights, a situation that worries residents due to the potential damage this could cause to their appliances.
Some specific places where power cuts were recorded include the neighborhoods Villa del Agrónomo, San Rafael, and Barcequillo in San Lorenzo, while in Luque, the neighborhoods Marín Ka’aguy in Isla Bogado and Bella Vista were affected.
One user stated: "The situation is concerning, especially because of the possibility that our appliances could be affected by these power outages. We hope that the service is restored as soon as possible to avoid greater damage."
